We are thrilled with our Sans water purifier! Our water tastes good and we have cut down on plastic.
It's a great water filter! The water tastes so good, and the difference in my tap water vs. the filtered water is visible. Definitely better than all the previous water filter pitchers I've tried. I wish there was a way to turn off the auto refill setting while the carafe is in place either that or have it so that there is a UV light that periodically disinfects the dispensed water + carafe. Also for the hot water function, cold water dispenses for the first couple seconds before it starts to dispense hot water. If you're dispensing at least a full cup it's fine, but if you don't your water ends up lukewarm.
The machine is heavy. Is it true it is recommended take supplements such as calcium, magnesium with water filtered in this way?
I use mineral drops to increase minerality and improve taste. I don't like the amount of waste water, but am using to flush toilet and mix with tap water on lawn. I do find it far superior to the filter pitchers i have used in the past. I love that it is portable and takes up little space.
